This blog was created to share the construction of our observatory. The project started on 4/22/07 and finished on 6/16/07. Total number of days 56. This has made our hobby more of a pleasure than a chore. Before we would spend over a hour setting up the scope. And nearly that much to breakdown the equipment. Now we can have the scope tracking on the first object within 15 minutes. And the same amount of time to close up the observatory.

Hey mark its zane I was showing my ole lady this set up (which I think is cool by the way) and I couldn't stop to wonder if the boards had just roated away and that's why it won't roll right maybe if we just replace the boards for your front two middle rollers it would be on track again
